This is the new project compendium as part of the regeneration of the RMXP forums.

Basically this is just a database of all the projects that us humble users have created.

NOTE: THIS IS NOT A PROJECT THREAD, BUT JUST A LIST OF ALL PROJECTS CREATED. FOR IN-DEPTH INFO ABOUT A PROJECT YOU SHOULD CREATE A THREAD FOR IT.


Anyone who wants to list their project here MUST use this form to keep everything nice and neat so everyone can find what they want quickly.

Project Name: the name of the game or project
Author: who is creating the game?
Link: the link to the project thread.
Official Website: this one is optional. Have your own forum board for a project? Then link to that.
Short Brief: tell us a little bit about your project.
Download Link: once you have uploaded your game to an upload site, place the download link here.

Short Brief: Taking place on a modern planet called Mefflebefferson,Steve RPG is about a carrot named Steve who wakes up to find out that his two of his friends are missing. He finds them and figures out that his arch-nemesis, Anti-Steve, is after 10 powerful orbs that will help him rule the world. Steve and his friends Fieo, Cannon, and Spud 221, have to find the orbs before Anti does. This game has random humor, quirky enemies, and mocks cliches in typical RPGs.

Short Brief: In a land where one king has ruled for more than a millennium and one cannot tell the difference between history and carefully constructed propaganda, how can there be a truth of all truths other than that truth is a lie. A bitter tyrant thought to be the last of his race-the last of the Almennons, a young man who knows that the lie of all lies is the only truth, that the king is indeed the last of his kind, but not the last of the Almennons, he is the last Naga'shiitaas-Almennons that sold their souls for the sake of power. While considered a youth by his species' standards, the nameless hero is well over a century old, though doesn't look a day over 19. This nameless hero wil embark on a grand quest, a quest to learn the truth, a quest to save his kind, a quest for power, a quest for vengeance, and a quest to find his anima', his true name. But will he have to sell his soul and turn his back on his people to do so, will he become that which he strives to destroy, will he see the face of power and ally himself with this ancient enemy, or will he see this "face of power" and know that he must be steadfast and resolute.

The world is a world where magic and mages are looked down upon, to the point of exiling any who attempt its use. But after many years of exile, lead by a powerful magi, these people strike back, and leave the human land's in ruin. Stopped by a general and his army, the once powerfull mage known as Tyden is defeated, only to try and ressurect himself many years later.

Short Brief: You are William, the son and apprentice of the local blacksmith in Willow Glen. Your quest begins with a simple request by your father – to travel north to the Dwarven Mines and bring back your father's yearly supply of coal. As William's journey unfolds, a dangerous and violent world of ancient magic opens up around him. His first adventure away from home will soon reveal that he is the unwitting center of an unimaginable plot… This game is my own personal project, approximately 30% complete, and the demo (basically everything I've made so far) has around 10 hours+ of play time. All you have to do is copy the text in the white box into a reply form and fill in the areas. Use link tags for links.
It keeps the forum clean so everyone can understand it.

Actually, you should've quoted/copied/pasted. Then all of the links are already up and stuff...

But this is a clean slate for all the projects still in production...

Yes and everyone is messing it up. -_-

I don't know which games are still in production though. Altough I may do a full list.

If people want their project in the compendium, they can post it here. No need to recycle old projects that the owner has forsaken.

Ummm... Harb, one of the reasons we started a new thread was to start fresh. Update the first post with the things that have been posted, and don't put up anything that hasn't been posted. That makes it so that inactive members who probably don't use RMXP anymore don't have their games up here.

No, I'm serious. Most of the projects, they aren't being made anymore. Some of them, if they are, aren't being made by active members. Any completed games you should keep up there. Otherwise, only put up the ones that have been posted here.

Also, UPDATE THE FIRST POST. Look at the old compendium if you need an example. It was nice and organized, and all in the first post. You could find whatever game you wanted in just a minute, whereas here, you'd need to scroll through every page looking

Short Brief: A quick, two week project I threw together for a friend that wanted to see what RMXP could do without using random encounters. Two hour dungeon crawl where you solve puzzles and outsmart bosses using 10 abilities that allow you to interact with the maps. Example: Controlling Weather, Stopping Time, etc. Some quirky humor and easter eggs are included for those savvy to the gaming world.
