Anyone found a game yet where this is used in a manner that is interesting and doesn't make you feel like an idiot?
I guess that at some point during development this sounded like a cool idea, but I have yet to come across any game that uses it to any degree of effectiveness. ------------------- | |

So far, I can only really think of the DSi Sound application. And even then, it can lose its appeal after a while.

Wario ware inc. you use the microphone when yu use mike but other than that I dont know.

Pretty much just the voice chat when my parents took the phone away for a day or two, before I got an actual PC Mic. I haven't found a use for it since, I don't have any games that would make me look like an idiot using it, or any games that use it period, and when I'm playing online I use my Vent server to talk with others since it's better voice quality than anything the DS could ever pull off. -------------------  // more agile than a president dodging a shoe // | |

Voice chat is probably it's most practical use. And really, that's the only use that wouldn't make you feel like an idiot, cause if you're not talking to another person through it, you're talking to a piece of plastic with a screen. And talking to inanimate objects is stupid.
But if you don't mind feeling like an idiot, Brain Age had really good voice recognition for that color game. And that was one game that could only be done with a microphone. Also, I always liked yelling into my microphone to activate one of those pins in TWEWY because it only added to the crazyness of the hectic battle system and made it feel like I was doing a million things at once: glancing back and forth between screens, moving the stylus around on the touch screen, moving the D-Pad around to fight with my partner, and yelling into the mic. Made me feel like I was rubbing my stomach and patting my head at the same time while riding a unicycle on an elephant's back. -------------------

In Mario Kart, you use the Mic for battle mode, to fill your balloons with air. It's also used pretty well for Brain age, when you have to say the colors. It's also briefly used in Wario Ware. Other than that I havn't really seen many games using it. I don't usually play my DS in public places, so I don't really feel like an idiot, since nobody stares at me, as if i'm stupid.
