The level pissed me off in the end, heres why,I figured that you had to go in the Horn Fang prison, for some of the goddess materia, and I cant even get inside because I need a key, finding this out I fight some hard-@$$ monsters, using up all my potions in my cura, in the Lake of Oblivion, these monsters were the hardest monsters I ever fought in the whole game (besides Transformed Angeal), so Im using up all my potions and ethers for these monster things just to find out the beam crstalized and I cant fight the rest of them, so Im running around fighting giant stone eggs, and plants with bad breath, finding out that all seven materia are in the Cavern and lake area, hidden in treasure chests, so the elevator, prison, and fighting those monsters in lake of oblivion was totally useless and a waste of time, and I was heated (Pissed off) so the door opens and I was geared up, I had Dark Firaga, Dark Blizzarga, Dark Thrundaga. Curaga and a Pheonix down, I was ready to fight, I thought that oh this was going to be the craziest, deadliest battle I was ever going to fight......I went in.........then................ I killed Genesis in 40 seconds not only was pheonix down not even used, he only took 560 health the whole time, even when I fought his weakling henchmen, and the second bossfight. LAMEST BOsSFIGHT EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, ANGEAL WAS WAY STRONGER THAN HIM.

What level were you when you faced the boss?

yeah spoilers are kinda important cause some poor guy that just started the game could have read that and then cryed himself to sleep because you accidently spoiled the end of this awesome game for him. but ANYWAYS.
i wouldnt be complaining if i were you. beating him in like a minute? it took me hours.

Yeah, what is the point of going through the prison,or down the elevator if the goddess materia is in first cavern area, and in lake of oblivion?

Really?, he only has 999999=???, and another 999999 under that.

I can't beat the last boss still with Hard mode no missions. I can't even kill the minions before he summons new ones! Last time i remember it was like 20 minions and me just running around TRYING to hit Genesis. I died and never have wanted to try again.

IT isn't a hard fight. One thing to remember is it is your final battle so go all out with items.

Secondly if you are having lots of trouble spend an hour or two going through the very easy and easy missions. This will build levels easily and quickly plus the items and materia are an added benefit. This will allow for the fusion of better materia and your character will easily beat the final boss.

However this is really not the thread for this question, but you are probably new to Neoseeker. If you need more help tell us some more specifics about your setup. I would suggest becoming a registered member "It's free and easy" and then we could have more meaningful and useful dialog with PM's and adds to your credibility in posting. Also Neo does a lot of games and ads are to a minimum with no spam "At least I've never received any", but if you are looking to buy a game its a good idea to look on here for some deals.

fuse a blizzigara, thundaga, and firaga with ensuna in Materia fusion to make them DARK, and master them in missions on save point (incredibly strong, but use a big amount of MP)

Hard mode, the game was pretty hard in the beginning, before I faced transformed Angeal, I thought I was never going to beat him, I had to do a butt-load of missions before I faced him, but after a couple hours of missions I faced him and when I finally beat him, I dont know, the game was easy from there on.

I then found the game getting harder after that, which included the final boss. How were you able to defeat Genesis Avatar in like 40 seconds? I'm sure people will be interested in your strategy on how you did that on hard mode at level 38.

When I fought Genesesis Avatar, I made all my Firaga, Blizzigara, and Thundaga "DARK" by mixing them each with ensuna and "MASTERED" each one by doing a few normal and hard missions at the save point. I used a shield looking item that increased my HP by +40, a ring that increased my HP again, and AP by +20, another ring that increased my MP by +60(most important because "Dark" magics use up a lot of MP, and finally "Doc code" that heals me by 1000, in case he uses an attack that only leaves me 1 health left. I also used the materias= Curaga, of course, and Libra. at the time I used an materia that gave me a better chance of getting octa-lash, only because i always take -5000 health every attack.
