I purchased the fake papers, went to the guards, showed them the papers and they said it was fake, confiscated it from me and now I cant start a conversation with any of the guards. wallace would not let me in as well, he said im kicked out of vault city and i only had one chance. Now I have no way of getting into vault city. I tried stealing the day pass but still i cant get in. I problem is i only have 2 saves of the game and i accidentally saved over the seconde one as well, which means i do not have a earlier copy. Is there a way around this or do i have to restart the game from scratch?

I think you're screwed. The only option that i know about is that your being banned is supposed to be taken back after destroying The Enclave. However, that won't happen for quite a while in a normal game. Don't feel shy to use all 10 save files next time.

I never bother with the false papers. You can get a legitimate Day Pass for free by simply breaking into the Customs Office at night and riffling the locker. There are several other ways of stealing it, like picking Wallace's pocket. Supposedly if you take off your armor before talking to him he will recognize your Vault City uniform and just give you the day pass.
