So yeah, i got the trophy patch some time later, and i got to the B Licence. So when i got the patch i advanced to the A licence but i didnt get the B C and D trophies. Also for the billboards, gates and stuff.

Any way to fix this?

It's because the Trophies are NOT retroactive. That means you will only get the trophies you unlock after downloading the patch. Anything you unlocked before that you will have to do over again in order to get the trophies.

I heard that you back it up and you just start a new game. If you want more info, go to www.criteriongames.com and click on FAQ for Burnout Paradise. A lot of people complained about this, so Criterion Games told everybody on the FAQ to just start a new save. It may take a while, but it will be worth it.

Exactly. You must start a new game under the same PSN name on a different PS3 or on the same one with your old save backed up, assuming you want to keep it that is. Then any Trophies you are missing because you performed the original task before the Trophies were released, you must do again.

Sorry for asking this here but this is the only useful site that isn’t blocked at work – my “Complete 10 Timed Challenges” trophy hasn’t unlocked, I assume because I did a few bike challenges before I got to the car ones.

Is the only way to get this trophy now to delete my save game and start another?

^I didn't get the 10 timed challenges completed trophy either, when I was using Cars.

Annoyed me, since I don't play online much.

About the only advice I got was either:

Temporarily make a new one and do them

or

Just keep playing until it is given to you.

I have almost all the challenges done now so I don’t figure it will unlock on its own – from what I have read doing bike challenges is what caused the problem (it seems you shouldn't do any bike challenges until this trophy is unlocked).

Edit: got round the glitch in the usual way. I backed up my save data then deleted it from my profile and restored an old save (with no challenges done). I then did 10 timed car challenges. This gave me the trophy, at which point I switched off and restored my original save data.
