If there is a "create-a-player" option, then I suppose you could create a "Yao Ming".

If you get Xbox live and get the roster update that's being released this Friday, then you'll have Yao Ming and every other change to the league since the game was developed...

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NBA LIVE 2003 for the PC HAS YAO MING!!!!!!! I was also surprised that this year they got all the rookies' face mapped onto the head and the head is molded like their real head!! In the past they never had time (or were just too lazy) to include these details for rookies. I WAS IMPRESSED!!!!

i think you have to make him and start a season a simulate through and go on Francis mode and when the draft start they are going to pick him last! and their going to show what he did all-season long. And that's all that's what my friend told me his e-mail: webmaster@hotmail.com
