GDs usually help add some activity which leads to more people visiting the forum because they know its active and can get their questions answered easily, so I wouldn't mind it having one either.

Haha that's true. But that's the only justification I can see it working under. Having a completely off-topic discussion in a forum with little to no activity would be unwarranted. However, if the community does show interest and feels that it can be sustained and bring in activity, I don't see why it shouldn't be given a chance to bloom.

You'd still need some more people. I can't just allow a GD just for 4 people. You're better off talking on MSN or something then. If you invite some more people, I can go ahead with the approval.
