Has anyone had problems moving the old cars and license from GT 2002 to GT Online? There is a PERK button that's supposed to let you do this, but all it seems to do is give you $100,000. The old cars are still locked.

I wonder if this is a glitch in the game. I really don't want to start over from scratch again.

I was wondering this myself, until I read the manual over and over again. It says "import Sega GT items to unlock items in Sega GT Online" or something like that. It give you a max of 113K. No idea why? I was figuring it gives an unfair advantage over those that dont have any unlocked items for the Online battles. The current competition is 70's based, and this would create an unfair advantage over those that just purchased the game. At least by competing, you earn the free flywheel upgrade. Just my thoughts...

$13k to start a new game, max of $100k you can bring over from 2002. Your cars from 2002 are only accessible in "Quick Battle" or "Chronicle Mode". It's still cool though - I started off with my $113k, bought the Elise and finished the 1st season in an afternoon.

Cheapskates... Lol, I did the PERK thing once, but I didn't want an unfair advantage, so I reloaded the game, which undid the PERKing...

When you had 8 million dollars and nothing to spend it on, you would want the money too...
