Not too long after the PC release of the Titan Pack for the popular shooter Unreal Tournament III, Epic is following up today with its PS3 counterpart. Keep in mind this will cost you a whopping $0.00.

What do you get? Where to start...heck, let's just go with a list:

• gametypes Greed and Betrayal
• the namesake Titan mutator
• 19 maps
• Link Station and X-Ray Field deployables
• Stinger Turret and Eradicator Cannon weapons
• Stealthbender vehicle
• Slow Field power-up
• characters Kana and Nova

The developers are having a grand old time with the Greed gametype in particular; Lead Designer Steve Polge describes it as a fast-paced tug of war style mode in which you nab the skulls of fallen players and drop them at the enemy base, thereby scoring points, with the color (there are three) determining how many points you get.

Worth noting is the option to activate the Titan mutator in Greed; everything's the same except...you can transform into a 15-foot Titan, which Polge says is "handy for sowing mass destruction on opponents". Mutation is available upon filling up your meter by killing enough enemies, caputuring the requisite amount of flags or nodes, or completing other game objectives.

Aside from all this, there's also the title update portion of the pack -- so massive in proportion it could be described as the title update to end all title updates. More details on both parts can be found here and here. Enjoy!
